A creation by the Carrousel theatre company, in coproduction with the Théâtre du Bic and les Tréteaux de France, Centre dramatique national

Trailer: Joséphine et les grandes personnes

Ages: All
Duration: 1 minute 28 secondes

Joséphine, a little girl full of wisdom, takes on the unexpected role of life coach for children. With astuteness and mischief, she shares her secrets for navigating the complex world of adults. Through ten lessons, we discover the ups and downs of Josephine's family life, where the little and the big trials that parents and children go through are intertwined. Fortunately, a mysterious old lady attends each lesson, forging a special bond with Joséphine. They help each other and form a unique duo.

Some children carry the burden of the world on their shoulders a little too early. Others have fun being adults, while still others are already grown-ups. Marie-Hélène Larose-Truchon's text celebrates childhood, the imagination and strength of children. It's a show in which young spectators will have the pleasure of recognizing their parents, who in turn will be able to perceive their own contradictions. It's also a theatrical moment that brings children and adults together to let go of excesses and celebrate the beautiful but complex relationship that binds them together.
