2026 Benefit Evening

Join us in celebrating the close of our 58th artistic season at a festive spring evening on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., at the Berkeley Street Theatre, followed by a reception at Jamii Esplanade.

A wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate another season, and support — through your presence — our youth programs and theatrical productions.

The evening will spotlight Angle Mort, a Franco-Ontarian and Franco-Manitoban work created and performed by Stéphanie Morin-Robert. In this bold, energetic, and deeply human autobiographical piece, the artist reflects on her life journey with sharp insight and disarming humour.

Diagnosed in early childhood with a malignant retinal tumour and now living with an ocular prosthesis, she shares her path, her relationship to difference, and the small (and big) turning points that led her to fully embrace who she is. A luminous performance about resilience, identity, and the joy of living.

👉 The performance is suitable for youth ages 12 and up — feel free to attend as a family!

The show will be followed by a convivial buffet and a silent auction featuring a variety of exciting items.

Good news: the auction is now live online and will close on the evening of the fundraising event.

General Admission: $150 (includes a $100 tax receipt) 
Special Rate – Under 30: $100 (includes a $75 tax receipt)
