Back on Stage: Crawlspace
Toronto, Ontario - After winning over audiences during the 2022-2023 season, Crawlspace returns to the Théâtre français de Toronto (TfT) stage for two one-off performances on March 5 and 6 ar 7:30 p.m.
This biting black comedy by Canadian playwright Karen Hines, translated by Mishka Lavigne and directed by Miriam Cusson, plunges into the Kafkaesque nightmare of a Toronto homeowner who sees her real estate dream turn into a veritable descent into hell. Inspired by a true story, the play takes an incisive look at the madness of the real estate market and the myth of property as a symbol of success and security.
Performed with brio by TfT Artistic Director Karine Ricard, and accompanied on stage by Meilie Ng, this intimate work will be played to a small audience at the TfT Studio (21 rue Collège, 6th floor). A last chance to see it before its national tour!
Upcoming tour dates:
- Edmonton - UniThéâtre: March 21 and 22
- Saskatoon - Théâtre La Troupe du Jour: March 28, 29 and 30
- Ottawa - Théâtre La Vieille 17: April 10, 11 and 12
