Nombre
Unexpected and surprising, Nombre is a participatory theatrical work designed for the classroom. At the start of the experience, the students are given simple instructions, which at first glance seem trite. But thanks to an ingenious system of numbers, they are soon plunged into the heart of a show in which they are both the inspiration and the main players. Guided from a distance by ‘invisible stage hands’, a thrilling story emerges – their own!
Adapted from the original production by the Alpha Charlie Kilo collective (Quebec), Nombre reminds us of the exquisite singularity of human exchange and the importance that a simple encounter can have in our lives. This production focuses on the themes of inter-connectivity and encounters, offering young people a unique human and interactive experience.
