Les Contes du voyageur
SHOW TOURING SCHOOLS ALL YEAR LONG
TfT is making a show available to Ontario schools which can be performed in a classroom : "A traveler finds refuge in a log cabin during a blizzard. While waiting for the storm to pass, he shares stories with the cabin’s inhabitants, sharing tales and legends of French America”.
"My 4th and 5th graders absolutely loved Les Contes du voyageur_! They were on the edge of their seats for the entire performance. I particularly enjoyed the interactive nature of the play, with the actor making use of the whole classroom for his stage and interacting with the students. The show was engaging, funny and educational, and it fitted in perfectly with our curriculum. I look forward to inviting you back again soon_" - Ben Ross, Grade 4/5 French Immersion Teacher, Morse Street Jr. Public School"
"I really enjoyed the show. It was very entertaining because I really enjoyed the stories and they made me laugh a lot. The comedian was very expressive and funny. I really liked the story with the pirates"- Kian.
SCHOOLS: The price is $350 (+ traveling expenses) for two performances over one day. Performances, which include interactions with students, take place in the classroom (not in a gym).
