Doors slam, misunderstandings pile-up, and mix-ups escalate in this fresh new original play by Sébastien Bertrand (Les Liaisons dangereuses, Correspondances inédites; Les Filles du roi).

1921. Feu Monsieur Feydeau ! delves into the twilight days of Georges Feydeau, the undisputed master of vaudeville. Suffering from delirium, Feydeau is forced to stay in a sanatorium in Rueil-Malmaison, a setting as strange as it is unfamiliar. There, surrounded by eccentric characters, he unwittingly becomes the main character in a new original farce.

Mistaken identities, outlandish twists and turns, Feu Monsieur Feydeau ! celebrates at a frenetic pace the author’s implacable style and pays him a tribute that is as tragic as it is comic.
