SYNOPSIS

THOMAS CAN’T GET PAST THE MEMORY OF HIS FIFTH BIRTHDAY, when his mother made him a delicious poutine: the best in the world! Thanks to this happy memory, he decides to make the same recipe but this time in unparalleled quantities, determined to enter the Guinness Book of Records.

But he runs into obstacles. Will his best friend Samuel and his soccer team join the project? Will he be able to convince the cheese maker to help him? Will the mayor agree to lend him the town stadium so he can serve his dish to everyone?

Andrée Poulin’s bestselling novel won the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award and the Le Droit Literary Award. It a quest that is both hilarious and moving, Pierre Simpson’s adaptation explores community building, ambition and the sometimes difficult relations we have with our parents.
